The Effects of Community Building

In order to inspire the group to think outside the box in terms of what it meant to witness an act of kindness in the community, we showed them this chart of ways in which they could identify these acts. This was meant to show them that there are more ways to be kind than to just share a snack or help on a question in class. This chart was given to the students as they begun to create the "Kindness Wall", so that they could think outside the box about who deserved a shout out.
